Eight miles north of the beautiful city of York you will find the village of Strensall, a thriving community with shops and pubs.

Approaching York, follow the outer ring road, A1237, until Strensall is signposted. Once in the main village street, at the Ship Inn take the Sheriff Hutton road over the bridge for about half a mile, then first left into Pottery Lane, signposted Sutton-on-the-Forest.
